CELEBRATE THE 4TH OF JULY 2018 NEAR HOUSTON, TX
There are tons of festivals, concerts and fireworks throughout the Houston-area for Independence Day. And this year, we celebrate America’s 242nd birthday! Here are some of the highlights for 4th of July 2018 near Houston, TX.
Freedom Over Texas
Come out to Eleanor Tinsley Park for a patriotic concert at just $10. Opening the night at 4 PM are Cupid, Dance Party Express and The Mavericks. Then, when country music star Chris Young takes the stage to headline the concert, a glorious fireworks display will light up the sky as he performs.
ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights: Star-Spangled Salute
Or, if you prefer the classics, you can set up an area at the Miller Outdoor Theatre to listen to the Houston Symphony play all of the patriotic favorites. The concert starts at 8:30 PM, and when 10 PM hits, a spectacular fireworks show will make you go “ooh” and “ahh.” Plus, this is a free event, perfect for family or date night.

4th of July Weekend
At CityCentre from 7 PM to 11 PM, join many other Houstonians at the Texas Unlimited Band showers the crowd with country and rock music. And if you want some food or drinks, you can stop at one of the many restaurants and even get it to go so that you can bring it to the show. Though the event itself is free, parking is $10.
4th of July Parade and Festival
You can also bring the kids to Bellaire Town Square for patriotic parade at 9:30 AM. Then after the parade, you can head to the Town Square and Loftin Park for a family-friendly festival. There will be many fun games, delicious foods and even music. Some of the activities include a Putt-Putt course, petting zoo, water slide and more!
