WHAT’S NEW AND CHANGED FOR THE 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO?
2019 Chevrolet Camaro new features and release date
Not many vehicle types can evoke the feelings of status, refinement and pure unrelenting adrenaline with just a simple name, but that’s all that we think about when we hear the word “Camaro.” Chevrolet’s most popular muscle car is an icon of sleek, mean and menacing speed, and it’s set to return for the new model year with even more of what we’ve grown to love. To get you ready for its arrival here in Houston, today we’ll show you the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro new features and release date!
2019 Chevrolet Camaro new exterior design upgrades
Though not a total facelift per se, the 2019 Camaro has certainly been re-sculpted to give you an even more primal feel before you even step inside. Taller, chiseled hoods will line every new trim level, and a larger, mesh-styled grille will also come standard. Plus, LED halogen headlamps will join with a light bar to ensure that everyone else on the road knows what’s coming.
From the back, all-new rear fascias and LED taillamps are introduced for the 2019 model year, along with a rear diffuser to help increase your aerodynamics as you drive. It’s the perfect complement to the iconic snarl that the Camaro has always been known for.
2019 Chevrolet Camaro performance features
Also new for the 2019 Camaro is its Turbo 1LE trim, which will bring an ultra-efficient turbocharged 2.0-liter Inline 4 to the table, capable of producing 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Plus, with a 10-speed automatic transmission by your side, you can unleash all the testosterone-laced grit you need with smooth, responsive lift to go along with it.
